I'm posting new build of HWiNFO32 to support the HP Envy 17, Pavilion dv6 and dv7 (Intel only) EC sensors:
    HWiNFO32 v3.60-973
A new sensor should appear with some temperatures and a fan speed.
Please provide feedback how it works...
I'm continuing to work on the Envy 14...

Does it work with the DM4?

I don't think so. If you submit a HWiNFO32 Report + Debug File, I can check it. Maybe the EC dump using RW-Everything will be required too.
