    I was lucky enough to grab a first-gen Envy 14 while they still had a Radiance display. I love it, but I'd really love the new version.

    If I purchased a new Envy 14, would it be possible to swap the displays? A Sandy Bridge Envy with a Radiance Display would just make my day.

    No. Cables are different.

    we really need an FYI thread or notice that this isn't possible, it's not your fault but there are many threads on the same topic...
