Anybody who bought these models can you post processing and gaming benchmarks so that we can see the differences between the processors?

    I am on the i3 370m.

    wPrime 2.03:
    32m at 23.032 s at 2.4 ghz.

I had like 20s right out the box, not sure why it went up. I did not do a clean install yet. I just uninstalled a whole bunch of crap though.

Those scores looks like you have disabled powerplay! that could account for the low score

    Could you run a cinebench R10 ?
    CineBench 10 download from Guru3D.com

    450m with clean install
Picasa Web Albums - Philip Radder - Screen Captures

520m gets about the same in multicore score with hp bloatware removed.
The 520m scores with clean install will be coming from magusdraco tonight or tomorrow for confirmation.

Thanks, results are seeming normal, maybe a bit low, I was expecting a 3400/7600 ish score, is that a clean install ?
Also you must refrain from doing anything and have antivirus and any other windowed app closed while you run that bench.

Yes. I am trying to run them again but for some reason, my computer doesn't recognize the my 2nd core. It only shows that my processor has one core. Any ideas?

Check the last pages of the envy owner lounge thread. We got some people with this issue and fixes were posted there, all fixes don't work for everybody so theres a bunch of them to check out.

so with those cinebench benchmarks between the 450m and 370m what kind of difference does that make in the real world? The i3 seems to perform quite well.

    10% everyday perf difference between 370 and 450 / 520

Dunno but the 450 was worth it for the extra 50$
But if the 370 has slightly more battery life who knows...

Both are a very good deal anyway.

Just curious... how is cpu benchmarking supposed to work? As in, when I run them, the core speed pretty much doesn't go above the base core speed... (according to cpu-z). It pretty much goes from its undervolted speed to its normal base speed, and sometimes a bit over the base, but never reaches even close to the max core speed.

Intel's turboboost widget is more accurate to see at which state turbo boost is.
