I have a beats envy 14, I have an issue where when the dedicated card turns on the machine will flip out go black and restart. There is no BSOD. On the intel card or when the Radeon card is turned off the machine turns on and works fine. I have attempted two separate things and think it is the logicboard, but i'd like a second opinion. Other than the logicboard the only thing I can think of is that the replacement display is not an envy specific display?

I got the machine not working, so I replaced display with a different HP 14.5 LCD, and now i'm facing this.

Attempt 1: Factory recovery disks from HP. As soon as the radeon drivers go to install display flickers, goes black, and restart.

Attempt 2: Install from OEM Disks, as soon as I install Radeon Drivers system flips out goes black and restarts.

Sounds like a hardware failure to me. Call HP.
