So my envy beats lid had smudges, so I tried using a damp cloth to get rid of them. That only made it worse, now there are visible water streaks!!!! How can I get rid of these? PLEASE HELP ME!!

    I use 90% isopropyl alchohol. ( rubbing alc. )
streak free cleaner for eyeglasses also works great.

also try to use a microfibre cloth or one of those pesky cleaning cloths for glasses as well.

I use 90% rubbing alcohol diluted with water in a spray bottle. Plastic cleaners also work well. Avoid using things with ammonia.

Reminds of one time I tried cleaning white-out off a leather piece with acetone...end result was not pretty at all.

I don't know what to say other than good luck. Im sure theres a cleaning solution out there somewhere.

Every time I clean my screen, I use the same microfiber cloth and screen cleaning liquid to clean the chassis of my beats. Works well.

Hmmm.... I was somehow able to remove them all by using a different cloth (instead of the kind for glasses) and water. This leaves me baffled, but now my ENVY is spotless, and looks better than new!

Your cloth might have had some oily substance on it to polish glasses and wasn't absorbing the water.

By chassis, I mean body of the laptop, so yes. Lid, rubberized army rest etc.

@pez That's what I was thinking, I don't know if the glasses cloth was really absorbing anything.
