So what's happening is that I'll turn off the computer, a full shut down, not just putting it to sleep and then later I'll come back to it completely off. It will be to the point it won't even turn on unless I plug the power cable back in.

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate onto the SSD I put in it about a month ago. I haven't used it much since I'm not at school yet and have my desktop but this is pretty serious. I need to have a laptop!

My power settings have the power button shutting it down and not sleep and when the lid is closed for it to just be put to sleep. I also have it going into hibernation at 3% life instead of 5%.

It also doesn't seem to charge when the computer is off. I will have to turn it on to charge. Very confused here.

    Hi pjd2011,
Have you tried charging the unit with the battery removed to see if the same thing occurs? What is your battery life reading?
