    Has anyone tried tightening theirs?

Mine isn't completely sturdy anymore. It seems like the hinge part closest to the keyboard has vertical movement when moving the screen.

    Vertical movement?

That's easy. The screws holding the hinge to the computer are loose. Take it apart and tighten those back up.

The hinge mechanism itself isn't easy to turn, is it? (as in, the screen wobbles back and forth as if it's not tight enough)

Opened it up and its not those screws. Its something in the hinge itself. Its not bad but I was hoping I could tighten it up. Oh well
