    Hey Guys,

My Envy 14 is on order, but I wanted to see if anyone knew of a laptop cover that will fit this computer. I know there are tons of universal covers that lay flat on top of the keys, but it would be really nice to find one that's molded to the keys, kind of like how the MBP's have. Or any suggestions on a good universal one? If you can provide any insight, it would be much appreciated! :)

Oh, thanks for that but I should have been more specific. I'm looking for a keyboard cover to keep dirt, dust, and oil off my keys. :)

So my BIOS was dated 4/22/2010, and on HPs site it is 6/18/2010, so I dled the update and ran it and it did its thing. When I run msinfo32 and check the version/date, it still says 4/22/2010...what's up?

I was just wondering (and trying to get many opinions on) if it is worth getting the extended warranty for the envy 14? the cheapest one for 2 years is 275 bucks!

Is there an 1 year out of box warranty on this laptop? If so is that enough?

Also I heard people do 3rd party warranties, which companies do that? and is that worth it?

    Thanks!

HPs site has the wrong date.

if you read the cva for it, that bios is the same as the 4/22/2010 one.

    it's all f.02 A.

Most credit cards double the standard warranty if it is one year or below. Check with whatever brand you use - some don't even require you to register the product.
