I'm planning to buy the ENVY 14 in about a month, but I can't seem to find reviews and opinions.. well, anyways, I just wanna ask, for those people who alreadey own it, how good is the screen? (1600*900 one) and if you have any numbers, like brightness and contrast levels?

Right now my other consideration, is the more expensive mbp 15 but I really don't like to shell out extra cash for same hardware. Except I know the brightness and contrast levels of a mbp (and this is deal breaker for me)..

If anyone can help I'll be gladly thankful

    14.5 inch diagonal radiance display
350nit brightness, 82% Color Gamut, Wide Viewing Angle
    HD+ (1600×900) Resolution

The hardware is better than mbp, and cheaper, and the screen is better too. The only reason to get a mbp is if you want osx or a matte display, the envy14 radiance is extra bright so you don't notice reflections even though it is a all glass and glossy surface.
