This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Envy 14, no wireless after windows install

    this an envy 14-1190ea, i just did a clean install of windows 7. none of the wireless drivers from the website install properly, nor do the ones in the driver thread. device manager doesn't even recognize a wireless adapter, just a network adapter that won't work and windows fails to find a driver, either by searching online or manually in extracted downloads. there were no problems before i reinstalled....

    i selected windows 7 ultimate during the install, not sure if that matters....
