Has anyone else besides me noticed that HP totally botched the Proximity sensor driver in Windows 8?

The sensor only works one way. In other words, at least on my machine, it shuts off the backlit keys if movement stops for the prescribed time. However, it won't detect movement to turn them back on. I have to type for them to light back up.

Pretty silly, if you ask me.
