I performed a clean install and since then I can't seem to get the beats button to work. I've looked around the forum and tried reinstalling both the audio drivers and the on-screen display drivers. I'm not sure what else to do!

    Thanks!

I had the same problem and was not able to find a solution that didn't involve some sort of recovery. I think there's some other piece of software missing besides just the IDT driver package that's required to get that button working. Personally, I ended up using the "minimal" recovery (basically just a clean install, anyhow), and now the button works just fine.

That's exactly it. Tried disabling it on my end and the button stopped working.

Did you restart your machine after you installed the Quicklaunch software?

I had this issue to. Then I installed HP QuickLaunch. Still didn't work. So I ran the HP QuickLaunch installation again and rebooted. Then it worked.
