Hi everyone, sorry to make a new post but this may of some assitance to others in the future.

I recently re-installed my OS (win7) and there are two problems:
    1) At power up, there is a blinking cursor that keeps blinking for about 30 seconds or so before I even see the Windows boot splash. I disabled the pre windows web surfing environment thinking that was the problem but no dice. I also ensured my boot order was correct.
    2) Not sure if this was the same before the re-image or not but the audio on my left sounds great while the audio on my right sounds like it has no bass at all. It is still loud and no distortion but no lows.

If anyone has any tips that would be great because I have looked everywhere.

Envy 2nd gen beats (not sure if that matters)

    Thanks!!!

    1) that is not normal. maybe you have multiple partitions that are confusing it? i would re-install again using an ISO from microsoft (you can download it for free) and have it reformat the drive to a single partition during the install process. of course you will lose the "recovery" partitions but they are useless IMO. to be safe you could first download all the drivers you need from the dedicated thread in this forum.
    2) could be a driver issue i suppose but sounds more like one of the speakers is not getting full power.
