Multitouch is enabled with Synaptics drivers. After you install it, you can enable multitouch. You may need to play with the sensitivities of the touch to get the multitouch scrolling to work reliably.

hey if possible, could you get a little review of the multitouch / clickpad?

This is one of the big things that I am worried about for buying an Envy series.
    Thanks! :)

Did you check to enter the driver control panel?
Synaptics just needs you to enable all the gestures.

^^^ I had crazy difficulties with two finger scrolling and thought it just didn't work! Then i realized that my two fingers weren't horizontally aligned. After a bit of practice with making sure that my fingers are roughly aligned the two finger scrolling is working just fine. Haven't bothered with the other gestures yet.

hmm. im nto sure what i did, but i activated the one finger scroll (for the sides) and i installed another multi touch driver by the same providers, and then deleted it. now i have that little light on the touchpad constantly glowing, but i have control over my touch pad, and i dont get any responses at all from two finger scrolling. halp!

Well obviously its not going to work since you uninstalled the driver.... Just reinstall the driver off the envy 15 driver section and it should work fine
