I have a Gen2 HP Envy and it has been running fine until about two weeks ago. It's beginning to overheat constantly. The 2nd HD clicks while rebooting and rarely seems to be working. The machine has been running very slow as well. I don't really know what to do

it could either be a hardware or software issue. if it's software and your able to get into windows, check to see if your system resources are being taxed. if it is try either uninstalling whatever is causing high memory or cpu usage.

if its hardware it could be your hard drive.
