So this is driving me crazy :)

The space bar on my kb works, but if I hit it on the far right or far left corner it does not register. Anyone else?

I'm wondering if I may be able to bend the button's switch up a little so it's more sensitive.

But did they send you a new keyboard/topc case or did you send it in?

Well this seems to be a great improvement! I ripped out the space bar key and placed two peices of scotch tape between the button sensor and the plastic key (it's ribbed where they contact). The extra padding seems to compensate for the sensitivity of the button, works as I would expect now.

For the record ripping out the space bar key is not recommended without some patience; there are lots of little pegs that can be snapped ~ the "scissors" and stabilizer bars are also a pita to re-set when placing the key back.

Selectively deleting information and posts is morally wrong and a no-no in a "public," forum. Indeed, t's not publicly owned but it is a publically accessable and serachable forum; ANYmanipulation is... poor ethics to say the least.

I sent it in and it took about 2 weeks. I tried to get them to send me a new keyboard but they said it was not a user replaceable part.

This just happened to me tonight... what a pain in the bum over what has been a pretty smooth ride with this lappy.
