Lots of good discussion here of the 'reds appearing orange' issue with this display (I see it on mine delivered 12/22), but I haven't seen anyone mention having used a Photocal Spyder3 or equivalent to calibrate the display on one of these laptops.

I have a very old Spyder (circa 2002), but it's now obsolete (no 64 bit drivers/support available). I would gladly buy the Spyder 3 Pro ($119 at Amazon or B&H Photo/Video + $20 mail in rebate = $100) if it will help with the problem.

    Anyone?? Bueller?

My unit is flawless from a build defect standpoint and the screen is really beautiful, but since I want to use this machine for Photoshop, I am disappointed with the color rendition issue.

    Thanks all, Ron
