My Envy 15 won't sleep. It'll act like it's going to and turn the display off when the lid is closed or the button pressed but the power button light never goes out, the power light never starts to flash and the fans never turn off. I've disabled "fan always on" and tried turning "coolsense" both on and off. I've triple check my power settings but nothing will make this thing sleep. I can force a hibernate ok but sleep is a no go.

Ideas? I have a feeling there is an easy fix somewhere but the search function of the forum is "lacking" at best.

I have 17-32xx and have the issue.... sometimes, but I also have a mouse attached and if it moves, things wake up. So I assume if you have anything plugged into a USB port, or interact with the touchpad, things wakeup.

I don't even get that far. It never sleeps. The power button never switches to blinking. The power light never does the same. The fans never turn off. Only the screen turns off.

Gave it back to FedEx today anyway as the 17" I ordered arrived. Sleep on it works perfectly.
