Alienware M14x. Until HP fix the Envy line throttling issues, it's not a laptop anyone should consider.

I am not exactly sure what throttling issues mean so could you explain it in a little bit more detail... is it something where the laptop cannot take heavy load of processing or is it something else if its about the heavy load of processing how much can it take?

Holy Saviour please look over the 1st page of the HP Envy & HDX forum. I think you will spot the keywords easily.

Have no experience with Alienware but I would recommend the Envy to everyone! And I haven't experienced throttling on mine, and there's more in the Envy thread that haven't, I think I read some say that at least.

I think you should by it, the 3D is awesome especially in games :D
