Just got my 3270 a few days ago, and put in a 256gb SSD that works fine. Reformatted it and did a fresh win 7 64 install.

Installed all of the drivers from HP's page and it seems to run great. Disabled sleep, hibernation, etc, and have it plugged in.

I walk away for 10-15 minutes, and it will blue screen. I never saw it before, but turned off automatic restart on system error, and came back and have seen the BSOD.

I've seen older threads for the 2xxx series mention video driver updates, but see no updates on HP's page.

Anyone else run into this or know what the issue is?
    ---------------------

*update* I sat and watched and did see a BSOD. Searched the code, and it was either Daemon Tools or an SSD firmware update needed.

Removed Daemon Tools and flashed my SSD firmware, everything seems good so far.

    Hi Charger71,

Have you contacted HP regarding the blue screen? I would recommend doing so since you mentioned you just received the unit. If you need assistance contacting HP please email me your product and contact information to [email protected]. Please include Attn: Veronica-NBR in the subject line.

Glad you figured out the problem. A good program for diagnosing BSOD is called whocrashed. Try it out just to make sure that's all it was...

    Hi all,

Should I buy Envy 17-3270nr? If I build the 17-3200 with the same configurations as those of that model, is there any diffrence in terms of performances of the two models?

Currently the 3200 has 2-year warranty and 450$ coupons are offered!

No performance difference. But yes, customized version would give you 2 years of warranty.

3270NR will ship faster though since it's prebuilt.
