Hello, I just ordered the HP DV7 Quad Edition laptop and it will be arrived at my house around July 18th. But right now since HP gave out this 33% coupon, I want to return it and get the Envy 17. It is wroth it for the change? And what do I need to do for returning this DV7 that I am getting? I really want some advice because I never returned any items before and this stuff is all new to me. Thank you

I suggest you make a list of the difference between DV7 and ENVY 17 that you would want to pay extra to get.
The most notable IMO is better build quality and, depending on your configuration, a better screen.

I have never strictly returned anything to HP, but you've got to remember, it will take another few weeks before your ENVY 17 will arrive or your DV7 will be refunded. Time may be more valuable to some than others :)

I would do it if you can wait. If you NEED your notebook right away, it may not be worth it. But that envy 17 is a damn nice looking notebook.

I did the same thing recently and the process was painless. They pay your return shipping and within a few days the amount of the Pavilion purchase was credited back to my account. Still waiting for my Envy though! It is supposed to be ready by today. This is my 3rd HP and the other two always shipped ~5 days before the estimated date. This is the first time it has been so late.
