I was looking to buy an envy 15. I checked out ebay and craigslist hoping to find some good deals. I ended up finding an brand new envy 17 being sold by a local businessman trying to liquidate some items.

Obviously, this is an amazing deal. Im wondering if the 17 is too big though. Do any envy 17 owners have any advice? Should I go for it?

I would buy that in a heartbeat. I love the 17'' screen. And, I use the 10 key on the right side of the keyboard quite often... I love it, and wouldn't trade it for a 15''.. Especially at that price!

Who cares, Buy the damn thing. The Envy 17 is an amazing Laptop. Even if you buy it and in a month from now you realize it's not for you. You will be able to sell it for way more than $800. Like around $1100-$1200 if not more. That's a $400+ profit. Buy it before some else does...

i bought both to see which one i liked
im gonna stick with the 17 although it feels really big in my backpack, the bigger screen and bigger keyboard (additional numpad which i use often) is why im keeping the 17 but the 15 does feel better in my backpack and its just an overall ideal size for a laptop, howeever it does come with the 7690m rather than the 7690m XT
