Hi all, tried to do a search for this but came up with just one suggestion for an Envy 17-3XXX Laptop Cooling Mat and that was the Targus Chill Mat. I'd like to see if anyone can give me a few more options?

Has anyone who owns an Envy 17 ever tried a cooling mat and if so, how does it perform?

I looked at the guide for the cooling mats in the Accessory sub-forum; however, it seemed that all of the non-generic brand suggestions were for systems up to 15.6"

    Thanks!!

I have a Cooler Master Notepal U3. It' nice in that you can move the fans anywhere you want and it does a decent job cooling. It's above average compared to other coolers out there. The NZXT Cryo LX seems to be the best cooler around but is really hard to find and pretty expensive.

Another cooler is the Zalman NC-3000u. I have the NC-1000 and it did a good job with my 15.4" laptop. The 3000 and 2500+ are designed for 17" laptops.

So that's 2 options for you. Both of them should be better than anything Targus makes.
