Hey all, hope someone can help or point me in the right direction. I have an Envy 6t-1000 ultrabook with the 2nd gen i5 and HD-3000 graphics, when I first configured I did not select WIDI but from everything I read it is capable of it. Does anyone know what driver comes standard from HP? Is it the 3.0.13.0 found here http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...ies&ProductProduct=Intel®+Wireless+Displayeng ??

    Thanks in advance!

    Brett

    Hi Brett,

Could you please check the Device Manager so that we can verify that you have an Intel wireless adapter that's WiDi-ready? In the Device Manager, expand the Network Controllers category and there should be a list of adapters.

If an Intel wireless adapter is listed, then you should be WiDi-ready. Additional steps to take once this is verified:

    1. Update/install the Intel WiFi drivers and My WiFi Technology Software (version 15.1.1.1 x64) - http://downloadmirror.intel.com/21245/eng/Wireless_15.1.1_s64.zip
    2. Install the Intel Wireless Display Software (which you linked above).

More information about the Intel Wireless Display feature can be found here.

    Hi Justin,

In reviewing the device manager I noticed that by not selecting the WIDI option HP utilized a broadcom WLAN adapter, after some searching (and pestering HP) I found out that the WIDI enabled WLAN they would have installed was the Centrino N-1030 11230BNHMW. So, I ordered one and am expecting it to be delivered today, after installing it I will retry the downloads listed above and am hoping to have zero issues (lol- we can always dream right?)...
