    I've seen it pop up but what exactly is the problem with the keyboard?

    I'm looking for a laptop to write my PhD thesis on and need a high good quality keyboard. Look elsewhere or can it be replaced with an aftermarket solution?

    I'm not sure which envy your'e talking about but the keyboard on the envy 15 is really nice. It looks beautiful and the feedback on the keys are great

    there is no problem with the keyboard, I own an Envy 17-3200 and the keys are really good.

    I don't know who told you that stuff because the envy 17 3200 series keyboard is perfect...
