So I am trying to play this in 3d mode and FPS is to low.
With the tridef driver I cant get 3d mode to work unless game is set to native resolution. Any other resolution and the tridef popup saying old video drivers come up.

I also tried the Iz3d drivers but my trial is over.

Has anyone got this game to work in 3d mode with acceptable FPS with the envy 3d?

unpilot!!! Where have you been hiding buddy? :D Lol, anyway, I happen to have this game and played without 3D. I will go ahead now and see what resolutions will work and FPS on 3D mode. Stick around hopefully today I'll have something for you.

If you'd like make a Video and post link in my Regarding Envy 17 3D YouTube vids. ;)

Update: Opps, can't play it in 3D right now, I sent you a PM....

3-D is taxing, especially in 1080p, on a mobility 5850. Try the following:

-Set it to run in DX9 mode. This will provide a noticeable performance boost with a slight visual downgrade.
-Set shadows to the lowest settings. Again, noticeable performance boost, little visual impact.
-Turn off AA and AF completely.
-Run in full screen, not windowed
-After all of that, start lowering other settings until you get an acceptable level of performance.
