try uninstalling the gpu driver and then reinstalling the latest version..
also..do you know what your temps are? -
No I'm a huge noob and I'm not sure how to check the temp or even reinstall the gpu driver...
Does anyone else have this problem? If I get this RMA'd I'm not going to be replacing it with a 1600x900 E14, correct? -
Chances are, this is just a driver / software problem. The first thing you should do is download a program called GPU-Z: techPowerUp! :: Downloads. It's a fairly simply tool that will tell you a lot of information about your graphics card. Click on the Sensors tab and let us know what the GPU temperature is listed as - it should be somewhere in the 30-80C range. Next, launch a graphically-demanding program like a 3D game and play for a minute or two, then exit the game and check the GPU temperature again. Let us know what that comes out as.
From there, we can tell you whether or not your graphics card is overheating, causing the problem, or if you should try uninstalling / reinstalling your graphics card driver (which we can help with as well).
