HP contacted me today to probe and resolve my blue screen crashes that occur primarily when I click on random YouTube videos. It has no known solution, apparently, and aims to get there by "capturing" computers heavily afflicted with this problem, which it believes is connected to Google Chrome. I will get a new unit, but I'm not looking forward to the hassle. Has anyone else been contacted?

Is there any way I can avoid reinstalling all my programs? Does anyone know what type of 1TB hard drive comes standard in the Envy 17? I seriously might buy another, place it in, take mine out and send it back.

Can I image the hard drive on an external and then restore it to the replacement computer? HP is offering a 173D with all the same specs except 6GB of RAM rather than 8, and I figure I can upgrade that fairly soon anyway. It would be nice to have a brand new machine, but I really don't want to reinstall everything. The error is only so significant.
