I was doing a bit of photoshopping and listening to some music on itunes when suddenly the music started to skip over and over and then my laptop just randomly re-started itself. When it came back on it told me the system had recoeverd from a serious error - a message that I had seen before on my old computer. But this is a brand new laptop, should it be doing that? Also when my wireless client started up it said it had an error - send error report or not. That seemed pretty normal although Im still not keen on it but then I got an eror message from Dr Watsons PostMortem Debugger, Ive heard that this is a windows application but most of the websites I have been to have been unclear.

Im running a system scan as I type wih avast!, is this the best I can do?

Sorry if im being over dramatic, its just its brand new and i dont want it to be broken already.

Did your laptop overheat? That would cause it to shut down.

What kind of specs does your laptop have?

Do you know what the error message said?

My hunch is that you just overloaded your laptop. Running Photoshop and iTunes on only 1GB of ram could have caused it.
