Here's my situation. I received a laptop right before Christmas that had a faulty DVD drive. Returned it and then ordered another one right then and there on the phone. They refunded my money on the first one, charged me for the second one as a new order and told me I'd have another 21 days after it was delivered.
Well, this new one has a dead pixel and a black line on the edge of the screen near it. It's almost like it's got a backlight problem. I'm not trying to be Picky Consumer here but what if the whole thing goes on day 22? Besides, I have this weird vice about things that should be able to work straight out of the box and not having to go in for repairs when I've only had it for 5 days.
Anyway, was just wondering if anyone has had to return something more than once in a situation like this. I guess I feel like I'm going to get flack for having two problems in a row like this. The good news is, for some reason, they automatically assigned me a case manager for the first one so I can bypass returns and go straight to him with the problem if I need to. I guess that's good news.
I just want a laptop that works!

I have returned two HP Laptops within the initial 21 days and they haven't given me any problems. So go ahead and return it and get another one.
