As luck would have it, my docking station broke down on the last day of a 12-months warranty. Horrified, I quickly called HP hoping for a resolution (while also searching on eBay for a cheap replacement). They asked for my invoice as the docking station's warranty has expired based on the manufacturing date (it obviously was manufactured earlier than when I bought it). I scanned them the invoice the next day (they even called to remind me) and they arranged for a replacement.

I'm very satisfied with their excellent and efficient service (no going to scripts or asking me to perform silly troubleshooting steps when I explained to them what I have done to ascertain the problem). I'd like to credit HP Australia where it's due.

HP Australia has great warranty service i gotta admit just still not satisfied with their customer service lines, mostly cause its outsourced

Ive only had abit of a issue one time when the customer rep kept telling me my warranty was expired when i still had a month left. I told her to check again and she realised she was wrong lol.
