Check it out, Why does my clock speed on CPU-Z go DOWN when I change it to high performance?

I checked and even restored the defaults for the high performance profile.

Those clock speeds arent static; high performance i believe just means that it can use all 100% of its clocks if needed, but will clock down automatically while battery saver uses up to 60% (i think) but will also clock down when applicable.

it never gets above 1100 on high performance. This along with wprime telling me it takes 64 seconds, well Im thinking something is wrong.

Have you tried a different version of CPU-Z to see if you get similar results?

Also, wPrime 1.60 does not report like the previous builds. Either it is screwed up, or they have changed the algorithms.......

    Its called:
Meaning your CPU will only use as much power as it needs. Try opening a program and watch it fly up
