    Hi all,

I'm looking to get an extended life battery, just curious from the pics of the battery how it sits. Does it extend out the back any further than the stock 6 cell? Does it kick the rear of the notebook up at an angle? Anyone happen to have of any point me to any pics of the notebook sitting on the battery? I was unable to find them and am just trying to decide if I should just replace the 6 cell or go extended depending on how obtrusive it is.

    Thanks very much

Yes it does, by about the same amount too. I have the 8-cell...it just doesn't stick out behind.

One nice things about the 8-cell battery is that you can use the docking station while its on (due to the C shape it has), which may or may not be useful for you.

Also the 12-cell battery comes with its own AC adapter to charge it.
