    Hey there,

Ive just created a VGA conneciton from my DV5-1007tx to a plasma panel. Prob is, the screen fickers like heck with lines going up and down. The wierd is that when I remove the DV5 from power and let it run on battery... No flicker, and great picture.

What is the prob here folks? And how can I fix it?

    Cheers,

What setting do you have your power options on, try and see if changing the setting while using AC power makes a difference.

sounds like you need a filter for the mains power, or you have some kind of ground loop from the cable connecting the laptop to the screen.
