hi I have a HP ze5460 Laptop, When I try to connect this to a LCD TV using the VGA to VGA cable it does not work. My laptop can recognize the LCD monitor and it shows up under display and can change settings but the LCD screen shows up as No Input Signal.

I thought may be its a problem with TV so I had a newer Dell laptop and I connected it to the same TV using the same cable and it worked fine, after seeing how clear it looked im bent upon hooking up my laptop to the LCD tv somehow I have tried all possible ways to get this working using the fn+f5 key forcing to recognize the tv etc but nothing seems to be working.
Anyone has any idea what can be done about this.

Also S-video works fine using this Laptop its just the VGA output is not working any help appreciated

This is a pretty old laptop the only ports I have is USB this VGA port and a huge printer port I believe and ofcourse audio and mic ports
