    Hi there everyone.

I've just bought a Samsung SyncMaster 970P external screen, as I have been working for quite a long time on my DV2000 and i'm getting my eyes quite tired by staring into the small screen all the time.

Right now my problem is that I have to press Fn+F4 every time I want to allow the graphic card to output to the external monitor.
My question is: does anyone know how to activate the auto-switch to external monitor feature ?

It's getting quite annoying at every restart to lift the lid up and press the combination in order to get the external screen on.

    Thanks ahead.

You should only have to do it once, as the machine will remember your preferences. Check your control panel and see if you missed anything. I remember my dv6500t auto-switching after boot-up completed.

I got an nvidia panel but I'm not sure where exactly I should look.

True that the button on the remote does the job but it's not exactly the best way to do it.

Could you give me a hint flipfire on what exactly you have ticked in nvidia panel ?
