    when i connect my 20" external monitor on dv2000t i see alot of flickerings and constant blinkings. wat should i do?!?! need help!! the resoltion is 1680X1050

    this is usually a sign of improper grounding. there have been several posts about this in the past....one recently in the compal forum with a lot of good information.

    You should also check to see what the refresh rate is on your display options

    the refresh rate is 60. cant change it.

    You should make sure that both the monitor and the laptop have proper ground connection.That's the solution.
