    Excuse my ignorance but I wish ask a very quick question, is the External Monitor Port a HD15 port?

    I am looking to connect my notebook to my HDTV but I am getting totally confused with all these different ports, connectors and cables numbers and names :)

    Is there a site I may visit that explains the vast array of connections terminology?

    I am finding the discussions in this forum fascinating but am confused by the terminology :(
