I've a HP pavilion dv1000t laptop with integrated intel graphics. Can one use an external TV tuner card with a laptop having integrated graphics card and which brand is better one. I read several reviews of various brands on Amazon.com, but most of them seem to have one problem or another. Can anyone suggest a descent external TV tuner card for use with a laptop.

This one, though I'm not sure how well it'll work with your Intel graphics in HDTV mode. ATI and nVidia shared memory GPUs work but they're a lot better than Intel's GMA series. For analog TV you won't have a problem.
