I guess I will go and apologize first off. I'm sorry, but i do not know where to find the info for this.

My question is, how to do I know what series Envy 14 I have? When I go onto HP's site and do a search for driver updates, it comes up with multiple options. There is a 1000, 1100, 1200 series notebook. How can I tell which model I have?

I played my order back in Mid January, and managed to get a radiance. Not sure if this will help anybody know what series mine is.

If you could guide me in the right direction, I would appreciate it that way I make sure I get the correct drivers for the correct series notebook I have. Thank you!

Go to piriform.com and download speccy. Its a neat little hardware analysis tool that'll tell you exactly what parts are inside your Envy. Then come back and post exactly what hardware you got and that should give us a better idea.

The sub numbers are not entirely relevant. The first number 1xxx tells you the generation. The other three numbers are some sort of HP code. Sometimes they denote a retail preconfigured model.

If you want to know yours specifically, just look on your receipt or your sales log on HP.com if you have an account.

Driver wise, they will all be the same for each type of sub-model. You only need to pick one. Best bet is to always pick the one with CTO listed after it. CTO stands for custom to order.

You can find this on the sticker that's under the battery.
