Even though it doesn't relate to Vista SP1 at all, the question about if anyone has installed it and found any bugs is still valid. Following is a link to this BIOS version listed for the dv9207us notebook.

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...&cc=us&lang=en&os=2093&dlc=en&product=3369389

    Release Date: 2008-02-25 Version: F.2B

    Description

This package contains the WinFlash utility and a BIOS image for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The WinFlash utility is used to locally flash the System BIOS (ROM) on notebooks operating in a Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System environment.

    PURPOSE: Recommended

    Fixes

Resolves an intermittent issue where the 1394 port malfunctions.

    Enhancements

Improves card reader compatibilty with some MMC cards.
Updates the fan control algorithm of the system to reduce the likelihood of future system issues.

I hope this is the BIOS that the OP was referring to,
    MD

I loaded it and it didn't break anything.
Doesn't appear to have done anything, actually.
