This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ok after i installed a plugin for Windows media center my remote control stopped working (the lil one that sits in the expresscard slot) i searched all over and found this solution and it worked for me (i have vista installed stock not an upgrade)

    Make sure to run this as an administrator. (right click run as admin)
