    Hi,

I have a dv5t. The fan seems to be constantly on. I am told this is because of a setting in the BIOS, and that it can be switched to make the fan stay off and only come on when a certain temperature is reached. The fan is quiet, but I do know it is on.

So, what do most people do? Just leave the BIOS as is and run the fan pretty much constantly? Or change the BIOS so that the fan comes on only when it gets hot?

    Thanks.
