I have a hp dv2533tx notebook with the 1.66ghz processor and 64mb 8400m gs. The driver often reports the processor at ~50 degrees C which I believe is about normal. But the 8400m is ~70 degrees idle. The system is not overclocked and is running laptopvideo2go 169.09 drivers. Is there anyway without opening the notebook to set the fans to run faster or something. I already have a notebook cooler but it only gets the temp down by about 5. Speedfan does not work on my notebook as far as I can tell. The nvidia control panel wont let me change anything as well.

The motherboard is a wistron 30ce

    Room temp is ~30-35.
