Hi Everyone,
I have an HP Mini 210-1010R (purchased from Radio Shack) that seems to have a faulty battery. It came with a 3-cell battery, that HP Health Check repeatedly tells me to Calibrate it. Once I do a calibration, it tells me that the battery is failing and must be replaced. It also says that based on the "age" it is not covered under warranty. I puchased the mini this past February. Is it normal for a battery to fail after only 6 to 8 months (the problem manifested itself this past August). I do not heavily use the battery, so I am pretty sure it is faulty, and not from use. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

You can also check the battery code like:
" * 582213-421* 582214-141* 590543-001* 6BASBC2RYYC47W* 7F09C4* AN03* AN06* HP010979-B3T13G01* HSTNN-IB0O* HSTNN-IBOO* HSTNN-LB0P* HSTNN-LB1N* HSTNN-LBOP* HSTNN-Q46C* WD546AA"
in case you get the wrong battery.
However, you can try a discount 6-cell HP mini 210 battery online.
