Hello, I'm interested in buying a new Dv6t with Sandy Bridge. I have a few questions about the model in general (with or without Sandy Bridge):

    1. What is the build quality like?
    2. How hot does this laptop run?
    3. What is the 1366x768 screen like?
    4. Any opinions on warranty choices?

    Thanks,
    po1son

Whilst I do not own that model some questions still apply so I can help.

The build quality is actually quite good, I haven't seen much if not any flexibility in the frame or keyboard. I think if you treat it well and don't knock it around it should remain like that for a long time. Quite happy with the build quality.

The screen is just an average screen, you're not going to run the laptop and be amazed at it, with that being said it isn't bad by any means. Some people have problems with the colors being out when receiving it, but a little calibration fixed that, not sure if that applies to SB models or not but still worth noting. If you've been using higher resolution machines previously, this might be annoying to get used to, but nevertheless you get used to it.
