Ok So I finally saved my money for the zx5000. The free upgrade is gone for the 60 gig H-Drive but the price also went down a lil so im not concerned about that. Do they still offer the $100 main in? If so is there any other rebate/ coupon I can use? I remember there being a $100 discount if you get XP. Is that still going on? I will be buying the laptop @ work 2morrow so your answers will be much apreciated, thanks in advance [ :D]

I just ordered it[ :D]. Here are the specs
    HP Pavilion zx5000 series

    Price - EPP -$1196.62 - After Mail-In $1,096[ :D]
    - Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 2.80 GHz
    - Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Home Edition
    - FREE Upgrade from 15" XGA to 15.4" WXGA (1280x800)
    - 64MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) 9200
    - 512MB DDR SDRAM (2x256MB)
    - 60 GB 4200 RPM Hard Drive
    - FREE Upgrade from DVD to DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive!!
    - 54g(TM) 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125HSM/SpeedBooster(TM)
    - Microsoft(R) Works/Money
    - 12 Cell Lithium Ion Battery

I'm not too much of a gamer so I went with the 9200 ATI. Also just went with the 2x 512 memory since i think that is enough for my usage. The guy @ HP was arguing with me about the $100 mail in saying it was not listed for the zx5000 and said "I wouldn't trust what ppl say online".Then I said is this a configure to order notebook? He replied "Yes" and then I told him to look at the bottom of rebate form where it says which HP's are eligible and he felt really stupid. But it sould be here on AUG. 24th which is a while but from what everyone says on here it usually arrives earlier then that.

Well, I called before hand and talked to HP and asked the girl about the $100 rebate. And she pulled up the rebate and was reading it with me and she said I should get it no prob. Well I got my custom zx5000 just a couple days ago, and when I goto the url in the rebate to put in my model/serial, it says not valid. But when I goto the $50 it works. So "I wouldn't trust what ppl at HP say" :p
