im typing this on my new zx5000. gotta say, the keyboard is pretty comfortable. my arms will have to be used to being lifted up about an inch off the table while typing, but that's ok. right now i have the movie "The Last Samurai" playing in the background. the speakers are VERY impressive for a small machine like this. the screen is great (wxga).

the setup was very easy. after i powered the notebook up, it took about 5 minutes to configure everything, and then about 2 minutes to configure my wireless networking. after that, i am up and running.

    so far im impressed.

ill check back later with a more detailed review.

Congrats on getting the notebook! I know you're gonna be much happier with the ZX5000 rather than the ZV5000 your were originally considering.

    Enjoy!

well i just installed a game on the machine to see how that works.

the only thing i had available was EA Sports NBA Live 2004.not the most graphicaly demanding game, but still. on my desktop i could only run it at medium settings at MOST. on the laptop i ran it at maximum on everything, and even then it was too fast. i'll have to slow the gameplay down a bit so my players dont run around the court in 1.5 seconds lol.

the graphics look very sharp, the gameplay is smooth

    so that's a good sign.
