This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    sorry if this problem has been asked and solved on numerous occasions on this board but i searched for a solution and couldn't find any


    my fingerprint reader has recently jus stopped working. I tried reinstalling the driver..but i have no idea if it was the right one..Verisoft does not respond to the scanner anymore..i guess there is some chance that it may be a technical problem but i don't know

    any advice?

    Completely uninstall the drivers / software, reboot, and reinstall. If it is still totally non-responsive, its probably defective.
