This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Fingerprint software for Windows XP

    I recently bought a dv6700tse and I successfully downgraded to Windows XP. My dv6700tse came with a fingerprint reader and I got the drivers working properly, but I have no software for the fingerprint recognition. I tried installing digitalpersona from the swsetup folder, but it says that it requires windows vista. Are there any free fingerprint software available or am i stuck without a fingerprint reader.
